Client Testimonials

Deahna Kraft - Professional Beach Volleyball

“I met Dan Zeller when I was 14 years old and he has been a critical part of becoming the successful athlete I am now at 24. He is elite in his business and has kept me injury free and strong through five years of Division 1 volleyball and now through my professional beach volleyball career.

I consider myself extremely lucky to have been trained by him. If you have the chance to work with him don’t pass up the opportunity! He will treat you like family and make sure you’re leaving his office feeling stronger and happier. Truly love this guy!

Jake Eldrenkamp - Indianapolis Colt, UW Football

I worked with Dan throughout my college and NFL football career. Whenever I had a question about training or injuries, Dan was the first person I called. I knew I could always trust Dan to look out for my best interests.

He was instrumental in helping me both prepare my body to handle the immense forces that come with the game of football and recover from the inevitable injuries.”

Lauren Sanders – Professional Volleyball, UW Volleyball

“Working with Dan was a huge blessing throughout my collegiate and professional career.  His approach to the body, both physically and neurologically, is incredibly unique and has fostered both healing and strengthening throughout my volleyball career.  Even now, as a retired professional player who still plays for fun, I utilize the exercises Dan taught me to keep myself functioning healthily.  I live by his shoulder and leg band series and still use them in my “everyday” workouts!

Dan approaches the athlete holistically and challenges you to be the best version of yourself.  He encourages even the younger athletes to be accountable for their physical well-being through nutrition, rehab, and mindful exercise.

One time I walked into his gym with the worst ankle sprain of my life, stuck in a boot, and through trusting his MAT process, I ditched the boot that very same day, walked out the door, and proceeded to make a full recovery within 2 weeks.  This was invaluable as I was in the middle of my season.  As a former collegiate and professional athlete, your body and health are your biggest investments, and Dan not only invests his time into your success and growth, but helps take charge of your own growth.

Eleanor Hayd - Boise State Beach Volleyball

“I first started seeing Dan for lower back issues and ended up staying with his program for the next 4 years. Through an incredible progression of technological advancements and learning, I can confidently say that I am a faster, stronger, and smarter in every aspect of my game.

He's helped me become the most fierce competitor and outright ambitious in life. The most reliable and knowledgeable guy I know to this day and anyone who get the opportunity to work with him should consider themselves extremely lucky. I can't thank him enough for all he has done for me and all the hard work and genuine care he has for his clients.”

Kristi Eisele - Everyday Athlete

“In 2011 I broke my collarbone and tore my rotator cuff mountain biking in Whistler from overshooting a jump on A-Line. I visited the orthopedic surgeon who was the team doc for the Mariners and after surgery he directed me to an athletic training and rehab center. This is where I met Dan who was also into downhill mountain biking. He understood that I was a downhill racer and that I needed to get back on the bike as fast as possible. I was first extremely skeptical about MAT, but after I recovered in record time I was sold. Not everyone can do MAT well yet I can say that Dan not only does it well, but EXCEPTIONALLY well. I had many body weaknesses from years of compensation and injuries, but Dan was able to work through my whole body and helped to get it back to working as a whole. No physical therapist had ever been able to help or address my issues, but Dan did and also helped me to perform better athletically in my bike races. Dan and I became good friends who started riding together and ended up being invited to join a mountain bike race team. We then ended up branching off with our own team where we were sponsored by Evil bikes, Smith Optics and Fly Racing.

Over the years I suffered more significant injuries and every time Dan helped me recover 4x faster than any other of my doctor’s patients (docs words, not mine). My doc asked how I recovered so quickly and got so much mobility back after I decimated my wrist into “moon-dust” (the surgery involved 2 plates and 15 screws)... I told him about Dan and explained his work, but the doctor didn’t want to believe me. I have seen this doctor again for another injury since that conversation and once again I healed 4x as fast - the doctor refused to believe that Dan could work this kind of magic and simply called me a freak of nature in the healing department. No, I am not an exceptional healing anomaly - Dan has worked these miracles!

I still see Dan to this day to help keep me doing the things I love to do, which are still downhill mountain biking, dirt biking, horseback riding, downhill skiing and doing HIIT training.”

Adison Mattix - Pitcher MTHS

“I first met Dan Zeller through my pitching coach at the time, around the beginning of August going into my junior year of high school. My velocity had been stuck at about 77-80 mph ever since freshman year of high school. After working with Dan for only two weeks my velocity had increased to 85 mph. Then continuing to work with Dan my velocity had jumped to 87 mph by the spring season of my junior year. By the end of my junior summer my velocity had gone up to 91 mph. Working with Dan has been incredible, he is very easy to talk to and learn from.

Dan is big on keeping his clients involved with their process through the program. By doing this it helps you get a better understanding of your body and what you're going through and what you need to be working on. With that being said I have become so much more aware of my body and how I move and that alone has helped me increase my velocity by just understanding my body's mechanics and how I can move most efficiently.

His knowledge, passion, and ability to translate that information has been an incredible inspiration and motivator for me in my athletic career. I am extremely excited to continue to work with Dan as I start my post high school career.”

Marissa Till – Cal Tech Volleyball

“I absolutely love working with Dan. When I first came in when I was 15, I had a shoulder injury that was holding me back in volleyball. I had seen a couple doctors, gotten an MRI, and went through a couple months of physical therapy–all of which had failed. MAT was my last hope, and Dan had me back on the court within a couple months.

His expertise has helped me beyond my shoulder, I now feel like a healthy athlete able to perform at my highest capacity. I no longer wear ankle braces, I don’t get overuse injuries/knee  and ankle pain anymore, I have gotten much stronger, and my vertical has increased.

When I moved away to college, I tried finding a new MAT practitioner, but to this day I still cannot find anyone who matches the work Dan does. Dan is very experienced and knowledgeable about what he does. He has developed many exercises that treat and strengthen the body, unmatched to anything else I can find with other practitioners. He truly works to help improve his clients well-being with what he has discovered and learned–rather than what MAT has simply taught him. Dan works to learn how the human body functions from every perspective for the best treatment possible.

On top of everything, Dan is a great person and so much fun to work with. I always enjoy coming in to work with him or giving him a phone call when I need something in college!”

Audrey Haley - Montana State Volleyball

“The first time I met Dan, I was 14. A few months before our meeting, I had hurt my foot playing a sport that I was told I would never play again. I had torn ligaments in my foot and had a Liz Frank fracture. For the few months before I met Dan, I was busy going from doctors to physical therapists, to orthopedic surgeons to try and solve the problem of how my foot was going to get better. I visited more doctors than I could count and each time I was told the same thing. That I was never going to be able to walk again unless I got a major surgery to insert metal screws in my foot or I was going to have to live with the pain. I knew there had to be other options out there that didn’t require a major surgery.

Then my life changed. I met Dan and instantly liked the way he treated my injury. He did not try to force me to get a major surgery or wear ankle braces, he knew he could fix me with MAT. Soon after I started going to Dan for MAT and trusting his knowledge and experience my foot started to get better and I could play volleyball again without pain. After being told that I would never step on a volleyball court again or walk or run freely, it was amazing to see how Dan could fix my foot. Dan went beyond fixing my foot, he changed the way I act as an athlete by creating exercises that strengthen my body and giving me the knowledge to eat foods that help me perform the best and keep me healthy. Dan is so much fun to work with and very knowledgeable about what he does, I always enjoy working with him.”
